La Réserve de Saparella
La Réserve de Saparella is what couples search for when they want a Corsican beach wedding without losing the elegance of a domain. Pine-protected coves, sea-front terraces, sunset light that lasts forever, ceremonies that begin barefoot and end under string lights between umbrella pines. Arius Films has filmed roughly twenty weddings at Saparella over the years, including high-profile clients under NDA.
What Saparella Asks of a Videographer
Beach weddings are technically demanding. Sand reflects harshly at midday. The wind off the gulf of Ajaccio shifts microphones. The transition from beach ceremony to pine-grove dinner involves geographical shifts a one-camera videographer cannot cover.
We bring:
Multiple cameras positioned for ceremony, recessional, and arrival
Lavalier microphones with wind protection
Drone with the property's authorization for landscape shots (when desired)
Lighting kits for the dinner under the pines
A second cinematographer for signature tier weddings
Our Saparella Filmography
More than THIRTY weddings filmed at Saparella since the studio's early years. Guest counts have ranged from 30 to 150. The list includes:
Intimate beach ceremonies (30-50 guests)
Mid-size weddings (80-120 guests)
Larger multi-day events up to 150 guests with welcome dinner and main wedding
Multi-cultural weddings combining French and international traditions
High-profile clients under NDA — films delivered privately, never published
The location's geography is now familiar to our team. We do not learn it on your wedding day. We arrive ready.
The Saparella Light Window
The hour between 19:30 and 20:30 in summer at Saparella is the most cinematic light in Corsica. The sun softens, the water turns mirror-quiet, the pines become silhouettes. Most videographers are eating dinner with the guests at that hour. We are filming. Then we eat.
This is where the wedding film becomes cinema.
Original Score for Saparella
We compose original scores that match Saparella's natural acoustic — water, wind through pines, distant cicadas. Strings predominate, with sparse piano motifs. We can incorporate Corsican polyphonic choir samples if it suits your story.
